Barrastaile self-catering accommodation is perched on an elevated site overlooking spectacular scenery of mountains, sea and islands - including Clare Island and Inish Turk. The house has stunning views and is situated on a coastal road one mile from Tullycross in Connemara in the west of Ireland.

Excellent restaurants, pubs and traditional music are all to be found locally. Barrastaile is an ideal base for fishing, scuba-diving, hill-walking, horse-riding or touring as it is convenient to beautiful un-spoilt beaches, Scubadive West, Connemara National Park and Kylemore Abbey.

The house has all modern conveniences, with breathtaking views of Killary harbour and the majestic Mweelrea mountain from the kitchen, living-room and bedrooms.

It can sleep six in three ground floor bedrooms: one double room with en-suite and two twin rooms. The country-style kitchen is well equipped with a connecting dining area, and the spacious living-room has an open-turf fire and is equipped with television and DVD player. The house has oil-fired central heating, private parking and bed linen is supplied. The owners live in a self contained apartment at rear.
